I’m Ian, a designer with more than 25 years’ experience creating hospitality projects around the world. I’ve worked with everyone, from independent start-ups, to global multi-national hotel brands, to Michelin-starred chefs.
These days, I work as a consultant, helping small and medium sized businesses turn their ambitions into reality. I bring experience and creativity, with practicality and value for money.

Ian Haigh
Ian Haigh is an award-winning designer with over 25 years’ experience, working with some of London’s best-known design companies, for some of the world’s most respected brands.
Ian studied architecture and design at the University of Suffolk in the late 90s, which led to a passion in the influence buildings have on the end user – people.
Settling in London, he worked for the infamous late designer David Collins, on high-profile restaurant projects such as Nobu on Berkeley Street and The Wolseley on Piccadilly.
Subsequent senior positions at United Designers and Martin Brudnizki Design Studio cemented his expertise in hotel and restaurant design, working with clients such as Gordon Ramsay and Jamie Oliver, to Hilton and Waldorf Astoria.
In 2010 Ian founded his own design agency, Central Design Studio. After 12 successful years working on major hospitality projects worldwide, and expanding to a team of 10 people, Ian wanted to re-focus on his first passion: restaurants.
